Curiosity deserves company.

Curious Cat creates opportunities for people to discover something new together through ideas, stories, music, books, art, food, coffee and conversation.

We do not gather to impress one another or to prove who is right. We gather to leave a little richer in ideas than when we arrived.

Curiosity before certainty.

Questions are often more valuable than answers. We are here to explore, discover and understand.

Conversation over debate.

We seek understanding rather than victory. The aim is not to win an argument, but to leave enriched by another person's perspective.

Wonder over trivia.

Curious Cat is not a collection of clever facts. A fact is worthwhile when it makes us pause, think, ask another question or see something differently.

Small Curiosities over large gatherings.

A meaningful conversation around one table matters more than a large audience. When a Curiosity becomes too large for conversation, it becomes more than one Curiosity.

Hospitality over performance.

Nobody needs to be an expert. Nobody needs to impress. Curiosity is the only qualification required.

Not a commercial business.

Curious Cat does not exist to sell anything or to persuade people to buy anything. It is not a marketplace, advertising platform or sales opportunity.

Not a political forum.

Politics is intentionally left outside the room. Curious Cat is not a place for campaigning, point scoring or persuading others toward a political position.

Not a religious forum.

Religion is intentionally left outside the room. Curious Cat welcomes people of every background without asking anyone to promote, defend or debate their faith.

Not trivia for trivia's sake.

We are not here merely to collect facts. We are here to notice, wonder, question and think.
